My Latest Creation

This is the baby shower invite that I just created for my friends younger sister (also my friend). I had fun with this. There were two other invites I created for the shower for them to pick from but the mother saw this one and cried. This is her tummy and the baby's ultrasound pictures too, which I think meant more to her to have included over any little animal or baby accessory clip art. What have you created lately? Food, art, new friendship, new closet system to keep organized?

What Kinda Mother Am I?

The kind of mother who:

-eats bakery cookie ends from Little Buddy with his gnaw marks and slobber on them

-locks her son in the van when I hand a crying Little Buddy my keys for entertainment not realizing that he will start to press the buttons and lock himself in

-uses her son being (fictitiously) sick as an excuse to get out of undesirable appointments and such

-lets her son eat fries and raisins and crackers as a meal when we are out or with friends cause I'm too tired to argue and don't want to wreck a relaxed time

-force my child to hold hands always in any parking lot or street no excuses, no matter what, even if he is hanging from my tight grip and crying and cars are approaching

-lets her bestest Little Buddy stay up and watch a movie with her and eat brownies on the couch (gasp) together cause I just love him so much and don't want to be alone

-bust open a bag of Cheetos in the store and let my child pig out on them in the cart cause I have serious shopping to do and it's the only way to get it done peacefully

-cheer and jump to tears cause 'somebody' made pee pee on the potty

-put my almost 40 pound 2 year old on my shoulders (while I'm pregnant) at the 4th of July parade so he could 'see all the horsies' . . . . . . and tear up under my sunglasses cause I fear these days will pass way too fast (crying as I type this)

-endlessly play along with my 2-year-olds "seekin' game," even though I know where he is every time, just cause he loves it sooooo much

-lets the floors get really nasty cause the vacuum makes my child cry

So, what kind of mother are you? Or do you want to be some day?
