Helen's Kitchen

I have tried many vegan, vegetarian, ethnic, frozen meals before. These were on sale, so I bought 2 of them. I got the Vegetable Curry with Tofu Steaks and Basmati Rice and I also bought the Thai Yellow Curry. I happen to love Indian food and thought these might be good. I tried to eat the Vegetable Curry meal. It was horrible. The flavor wasn't very intense for Indian spices, the veggies were completely insufficient and lacking, and the tofu was overly plentiful and had a very coarse spongy texture. I would not buy this again. I will not even touch the Thai Yellow Curry meal in my freezer. Sorry Helen!

Good to know! Now I won't waste my time wondering about Helen anymore.

Oh Val! I am going to have to post a Veggie curry recipe for you. I know there isn't much time in the day to cook, but maybe you can make a big batch and freeze it. ...oh I guess buying the spices can be a pain too, if you don't have them on hand already.

Sounds good Jenn! Great, now I want Indian food. For lunch I had Stouffers meat loaf with mashed potatoes. . . . . . now I am fantasizing about lamb rogan josh and tomato dal and butter chicken, I could go on but you get the picture. & hot nan too!

You're missing out if you don't eat your Thai Yellow Curry. Really. I haven't had the Indian one (and probably won't now) but the Thai Yellow Curry is truly delicious.
