Sign Petiton To Keep Second Hand Clothes Legal

"Our letters are making a difference! On Jan. 8th the CPSC revised its position to exclude thrift and consignment stores. Keep the heat on Congress as the CPSC rule making is still underway".

Visit the Make Second Hand Kids' Clothes Legal site for more info. This is so important! Not only do so many American families depend on second hand baby/kids items to clothe their children and provide them with toys, but think of the impact on the planet if this law is left untranslated or unmodified. All outgrown clothes and toys will be thrown away, as in the trash that's headed for a landfill.......?? That's totally unacceptable!!

Thanks!! :)

Wow, I didn't realize that anyone had issues with Second hand clothes. That's ridiculous. I was the baby of 3 children growing up, and I'm not sure if I ever had my own outfit until I was a teenager.

That's for posting that and creating some awareness about the petition.

Thankfully, the powers that be excluded second hand clothes. The clothing showrooms in downtown are hopping with inspectors with ray guns to check lead content of children's clothes.
