They may see your warm and caring nature as a weakness.
Continue to be warm and caring.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God.
It never was between you and them anyway.

SO true! Only He knows the true intent of our hearts, which really helps me get through my days sometimes.
This whole week o' poems have really made me think, so thanks for that!
Glad you liked this one Natalie. I used to work at a place with a bunch of sour, mean, angry people. It was so bad and all I wanted to do was work hard and be liked. I saw this in a catalog and cut it out and put it in my wallet during that time. They ripped on everything about me from bringing in treats to being a weirdo cause I smiled all the time. Looking back I now see that they were the weirdos, not me. That pace and its people were toxic, but it made me who I am today :) Very strong!
