Just picked up these finds this morning at the local Salvation Army Store. I actually got to go by myself :) Hurrah! It is impossible to thrift shop with a 2-year-old, at least mine anyway. I snagged 5 very cute boys shirts, 3 baskets that I like to use for toys and books around the house, and 17 children's books (25 cents each, thank you very much) all for under $23. Ahhhh, I love thrifting! OK, must go eat and put my feet up :) Find any fabulous goodies lately? Thrifting, garage saling, clearance racks?

I love thrifing too! Good finds!
Yesterday I went to the thrift store and got some Christmas decorations for my little sister. She is coming to visit and I wanted to get her Christmas stuff so she could have some decorations in her apartment.
For 9 bucks I got her a cute snowman, santa mug, santa teddy bear with music inside, and Christmas fabric for the base of a tree and also a couple things for me. I'm going to give her a little tree with lights I have and add a tub of hot chocolate mix and marshmallows.
Good Job!
Have you ever heard of Pinchingyourpennies.com? It has a link called Screaming Deals that will e-mail you super awesome deals (Children's Place has stellar clearance) going on. They even do things by state, so if you want, e-mail me and I'll fwd the info on to you.
All of my fall decor was either given to me or bought on 75% off clearance. I get it post-holiday, store it, then when I pull it out, it's like opening a present because I would forget all about it! I LOVE those kind of finds!
I love thrifting too! There's a giant swapmeet aka yard sale at a local college every weekend that I love going to.My older sis came back last weekend from it with a giant nutcracker for me for 5 buckaroos and it was brand new in the box!I bought one similar new at the store for 36 bucks!
u got some good finds.
Copswife, wow, that is so cool how you are putting all that together for your sister! I love doing stuff like that but it is much harder now with kid(s). Sounds like you totally found some goodies :)
Natalie, that is interesting. Maybe you can e-mail me the linky-doo? If they offer shirts for $2 and prices like that, I'm all over it.
LoudNProud, I love hearing stories like that. The Salvation Army by me gets Target clearance rack stuff as well as donations and so you never know what you may find. I am so braggy when I find something awesome still in the box or with the tags. Pure bliss :) I also am a huge Freecycler and get and give some good stuff on there. LUV IT!!!
Great stuff, You Rock!!!
