11 Pounds Last Night And 8 Weeks Tomorrow


Last night Little Munchkin weighed in at the LC's at eleven pounds on the nose. Yowzah, that means she has been putting on over an ounce a day. That would explain all the poo poo diapers and her good sleeping at night. Keep up the great job little one. Tomorrow she will be eight weeks old. I can hardly believe it. The beginning is so hard with a baby and so frustrating and exhausting and emotional and stressful. The days seem to be neverending and full but they also seem to swallow up the time. Before long it will be spring, right?

She is so beautiful and cute in her little bouncer.
Gosh, I can't believe our boys were that little once, gee, time really does fly.

What a chunk! And I mean that in the most complimenting way. I just love chubby babies because it shows their healthy. Sounds like you're doing a great job with her, even if it is frustrating doing the same thing over and over (boy, can I relate to that!)

It's not going to be spring until at least May in this part of the US, so it's not going to do me any good wishing; instead I'm hoping for LOTS of snow which the kiddies LOVE!

Thanks guys! Natalie, I never take offense to the chunky comments. If she was an older child I might but I had such a hard time with my son feeding and gaining weight that I am proud of every little ounce my girl gains. I LOVE chubby babies too, I think they are so much healthier than skinny babies. And skinny babies are kind of odd looking in that they seem to be missing what makes a baby, a baby. The chubby little rolls and fingers and etc.
