This is me body rafting in the Grand Canyon, we rafted the Colorado River back in summer of 2002. There is a sulphur spring (forget what the name of it is) along the way down the Colorado River. The sulphur content is really high so you float. It's also really warm where most of the river is around 40-50 degrees. It was a blast! Not sure if we will ever go back and do the whole river again but would highly recommend it. One of the places I've been. Where have you been? Or where do you want to go?

Look at the color of that water!! Is it the sulfur? You look like you're having crazy fun. My three biggest trips as an adult have been to northern California (redwoods!), Virgin Islands National Park in St. John, and Acadia National Park in Maine, all fantastic places I highly recommend. Where do I want to go? Absolutely everywhere.
That looks like awesome fun--so nice to see! I've been to a lot of places, but off the top of my head--Boundary Waters in Minnesota/Canada where I canoed my way through hundreds of miles and camped along the way; Sienna, Italy, where I could have happily ate in the piazza outside forever; and Clearwater, Florida, where the water was picturesque, the tourists extra touristy, and everything was ritzy in a beach town kind of way. And I'm with BerryBird--I want to go everywhere! And I need a vacation! Haven't had one in probably 8 years. !! How 'bout you, Val? Where do you want to go? Somewhere fun for your birthday? ;)
I would love to do that! It looks like so much fun.
I guess my biggest trip of late was to Cali in November. I've also been to Key West twice and had a blast.
In particular, I would love to go to Europe, but I'd be happy with just about anywhere.

I've been to Jamaica and climbed up Dunn's River Falls - water was a tad cold for me but it was fun!
That looks like so much fun. My husband and I enjoy whitewater paddling. I've been paddling in West Virginia, Alaska, California, and Ohio.
Hey Martha, think you need to do the Colorado River next? Ours was motorized and the guides ran the whole thing but it was very awesome. The outfitter we went with also does manual???
Hey egoose, I would love to do more travel outside the country but my husband has a horrible fear of flying. I have been all over the US. I'd really take a trip to almost anywhere at this point. Looks like we will be possibly heading to Mercer Wisconsin this summer to stay in a house on a lake with all of our family. That is if I'm not about to give birth or something. If we conceieve soon :) I dream of traveling all over the world. I want to see it all!!! Oh, accept Vegas and similar types of places, no thanks.
