Happy St. Patrick's Day!

OK, I'm not Irish at all. I always love this Irish Blessing when I see it. I found this cute little vintage Irish Blessing postcard on the internet and thought I'd share. Hope you have a great day, month, etc. We will be going to my FIL & SMIL's in the evening for some corned beef and cabbage. I never go to any meal empty handed. I think on this day I find it only fitting that I bring some type of green dessert. I was thinking of a small green salad? Nah, dessert is a must on this day, green dessert, for sure.

Am fear nach dèan cur sa Mhàrt, cha bhuain e san Fhoghar.
He who will not sow in March will not reap in autumn.

Thank you for this lovely postcard and sentiment.
We will making corned beef and cabbage and hoisting a pint on St.Pat's Day since I am married to the Blackest of Irishmen.
I thought you might enjoy this Irish blessing
May those that love us, love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles
So we will know them by their limping.

I am Irish and German but tend to boast about being Irish. It is such a cool culture. Plus, I have been told by before by an Irish immigrant that I look like an Irish lassie. It was one of the best compliments I have ever received. We adopted our son from Korea and his name is Finnegan. And, he is getting his adoption finalization on St Patty's Day.

I just found your blog. If you get a chance visit the website of my non profit www.parenthoodforme.org

Happy st Patty's day

Congrats PFM! That is awesome. Though I really can only imagine what it must feel like to adopt and go through the whole process, I'm sure it will be a glorious day and feeling for you and your family. We too plan on adding on here very shortly. I have met 2 adoptive parents in the last year. One who was just getting their son from Korea about Christmas time and the other who had 5 children. 4 adopted and then wham . . . . one biological magically came about :)

I wish you much happiness in your journey with your current and possibly future children.

Wow, I'm so lame that I didn't even realize it was St. Patrick's Day (and for a college student, that's a pretty serious lapse).

I really like the pretty old card.
