Blog Thoughts

Is it just me or do you ever get intimidated or lose interest when you find a new interesting blog then want to leave a comment on a post only to discover that there are already 20 comments?

Sometimes I'm so intimidated that I won't leave a comment. Other times, I am totally compelled to leave one, and I do. A couple of times, I've been pleasantly surprised to receive a personal email reply from the blogger. Warm fuzzies. But regardless, I usually keep reading the blog. I just know that I'll probably always just be a lurker and never develop an actual friendship with the blogger in question. Those blogs I read just for entertainment. Other blogs, like yours, feel more like companionship and friendship to me, and I have a more personal connection.

Momma Val - thanks for visiting my blog! I couldn't agree with you more...it can be disheartening to get excited about posting a comment on an interesting blog post only to realize you're the 50th on their comment list...(don't have that problem on my blog yet - LOL)
