On Friday, Cop Dad agreed to go in a few hours late to work so we could go to the pool as a family. He took Little Buddy most of the time and I got to sun my pregnant self poolside. I snapped this picture as he was having Little Buddy jump off the side (a million times) and had no idea I was even there. Maybe next summer he will even wear the swim baby sling holding our next edition and play with Little Buddy at the same time? Ha! One can dream. Great Daddy!

I remember the summer my son was born...I was the beached whale by the pool in the pink bikini. Lovely visual, huh? :D

It sounds like a great couple hours for the whole family! How wonderful that Cop Dad has some flexibility in his schedule to make the best of this beastly hot weather.
