Product Review

Thumbs up! I had bought Banana Boat for Baby as well as Coppertone for Baby Sun Block in the past. I was pleased with how they blocked the sun for Little Buddy but they were really oily, overly fragrant, and did not wash out of clothes or off Little Buddy's skin very well. Then he got a little rash on his one cheek after using Banana Boat so I was on the search for something more gentle. I know Banana Boat did not cause the rash cause it flares up on occasion but it did flare up right after using Banana Boat.

I spotted this at the store one day and decided to give it a try. It smells very mild and covers nicely and is not too oily at all. It also comes off clothes and skin much easier with soap but covers well for several hours at the pool. I like my kids skin to be protected but if the stuff barely comes off with soap and water in 2 baths then I wonder what is being absorbed into his body. Thumbs up!!!

Thumbs down! We bought some of this awhile back for our dog couch, which smelled very much like dog butt. I am not a fan of scented things or deodorizers to begin with but this stuff smelled TERRIBLE. Not only did it smell like a scented pantie liner, but it made my dog have huge eye boogers that seemed to irritate him shortly after the first application. I applied it a few more times to really get the full affect. Then my couch smelled like rank dog musk AND a scented pantie liner. Cop Dad was not a fan either and we both agreed that it smelled like a hooker slept on our couch. Thumbs down!!!

Got any products that you have found that you absolutely love or hate? Try these and agree or disagree? I'd love to hear about it.

I agree completely w/you re.both products. We love Aveeno sunblock, the spf 70 spray is very popular w/the boys.
Febreze makes me gag. There are other less toxic, more effective products like Nature's Miracle which you can mist on lightly and air dry.
A hooker slept on your couch, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, this is so Why I Heart You!!

We LOVE Aveeno products! Their baby wash is fantastic! No more rashes on the baby girl. I'll spend a little more and get the good stuff for her. I hate smelly stuff and love the fact that the sunscreen comes unscented. Love it! The son loves the spray sun screen--which is good since he's not standing still for me to slather him with lotion!

Speaking of Aveeno, I LOVE the diaper rash cream for my son, but it didn't work for my daughter. Lanolin, of all things, worked best for her tender bum (I had extra lansinoh after nursing, read somewhere that lanolin worked on diaper rashes, gave it a try, and Two Thumbs Up results!)

If you straighten your hair, the CHI flat-iron is tops! I bought mine off of e-bay because there was no way I could afford it at retail, but I bought it new and it's been AWESOME! I made the mistake of letting my mom borrow it while we were on a trip together, and now she's always asking if she can use it.

I've also found that Oxi-Clean spray cleans baby poop the best off of clothes (and works well on most everything else, though the baby poop was a biggie).

I could go on and on about every product under the sun, but the comment is already a large one!

Oh! In case you haven't found it out already! Huggies newborn diapers are absolute CRAP on boys (Pampers swaddlers are the best for both genders). Thought I'd throw that in since the new addition is coming soon!
