So the other day we hit the 2 Toots Whistle Stop Cafe in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Daddy and I had a doctors appointment so Papa and Sessie (grandpa & grandma) watched Little Buddy for an hour and then wanted to take him to eat lunch at 2 Toots. We told them that we wanted to take him ourselves to another train cafe so they said we should all go together. It was fun! It's just north of the Metra tracks in down town Glen Ellyn, Illinois not but a few towns away from where we live but the town next to our doctors office. There are train cafe's throughout "the land," but this is one of the few that have every single seat on the tracks. There is a toy train that travels on tracks through the whole restaurant. When you order food, they put your order on the train when it's done. They blow the authentic train whistle when each order is done and heading out to the destined table. Then the waiter or waitress follows the train and unloads your food to you. It's pretty cute! The food was pretty good. They play oldies music and there is various train decor scattered throughout the restaurant. Kids love it! We got Little Buddy chicken nuggets and a fruit cup but also brought our own apple, banana, and drink cause he is such a big eater and giving him a cup with a removable straw always ends up being a wet, sad, mess. I would highly recommend this restaurant for little kids, they love it. If you don't live by this one, they most likely have a train restaurant by you. Toot toot!

Awesome! Jim and I will have to take AJ there or to the one in Downers Grove. Maybe after the baby's born, we can make it one of those fun things we do with AJ so he doesn't realize there's a new baby around....
This sounds like so much fun! We all love trains and food, perfect combo! The burger looks heavenly, so unfair this is so far away.
This must be a new place; I've never heard of it.
