We're Staying Put!

Well our realtor came over yesterday. Seems that the market is as bad or worse than we thought. We were hoping to escape our neighbors son graduating high school and all the F!@#$^& parties that they'll have all summer right under baby's window. Did I ever mention that I hate the neighbors? I promise to post a photo of their yard soon so everyone can enjoy looking at it like I do every day . . . . . . after day, after day. It is good that we completely remodeled the entire house accept the laundry room. It is also good that we refinanced and paid a ton of our bills off with the money we made. It is not good that we still love here and we will not be seeing our way out til we find 6-10 grand to buy a new house or pay that much into our equity very rapidly and soon. Oh well. We were both disappointed but it was either sell the house or get a new car. Guess who gets the new car? Yep, me!!!!! Yeah. I have never in my life had a new car and will be more than happy to give the frumpy minivan to my husband. Hee! Hee! A cop/father/husband driving a big old beige minivan to the PD. I'm dyin'! I didn't want the damn thing in the first place, just took it for the whole "safety for the baby" aspect. Gotta go, a little somebody who woke up from their nap is screeching for me.

15 pounds today! I could have gone more but I went easy while I was sick I ate more of what I wanted. Didn't think bare minimums was a good idea when I was feeling feverish and very hungry. After 5 days fever finally broke on Tuesday and cough is loosening up alot too. Phew! No pneumonia but I have an upper respiratory infection that called for antibiotics. Yuck, I hate when I have to take them. Turns my whole digestive & female tract on end. First the diarrhea, then the yeast. I can hardly wait! Enjoy your untainted tracts today ladies!

Oooh! Oooh! Oooh! I just spotted my first robin this year. I ran to grab the camera so I could prove it to you guys. It was gone when I got back to the back door. Spring is coming. I saw a robin with my own eyes. Can you tell I am a huge fan of spring? Hating winter gets so old. Yeah! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, the long, cold, dark, depressing, winter, tunnel.

15 pounds! Good job Val! Inspired by you... I'm only down 5 pounds. I wish it was more, but I will keep at it.

I believe you when you said you saw a Robin ;)

Hey Jen,
That's awesome. I remember the beginning when I was at 5 pounds. It seems like so little, I kept thinking it could be water or if I cheat too soon I can get it right back. I am so happy for you keep it up. I was inspired by Cheryl of Red Pens & Diapers. She rocks at dieting and weight loss. I think she's down about 30. What would us blog pals do without each other? Funny how we are inspired by our blog friends more than our actual friends. Maybe it's because they can't nag us or see everything we eat. Whatever it is it's a good thing. Keep it up. I cheated last night and I am still down this morning. 16.6 pounds today. Hip Hip Hooray! I saw another robin yesterday and one today too.
