As I made a stop at the local dry cleaner to be measured for hemming some maternity jeans, I saw something odd as I pulled into the strip mall's entrance. I thought for sure I saw a DVD case with the name Finding Nemo on it. I figured if it looked kind of clear and safe when we were done, I would go and investigate further when we were done. Once I was done being measured I pulled near the area and turned on my hazard lights and waddled on over to the DVD case. Sure enough it was the DVD case for Finding Nemo with both DVD's inside looking to be in decent condition accept the case which had been run over several times. I was overjoyed because we do not have that movie for Little Buddy. As a matter of fact, we had just returned that movie on DVD to our friends who had lent us their copy along with their car DVD player for our last two road trips. I tried them when we got home. They needed to be cleaned and then I discovered that the full screen version worked perfectly and the wide screen version worked if I went to scene selection and chose scene one. It would not work from the beginning the regular way though. So, I plan on purchasing some Brasso today at Ace to buff out any possible scratches on the DVD, oh and also to hopefully to buff out the scratches on my favorite pair of cheap sunglasses. Will let you know if I'm successful, it's supposed to work the best for both items. I LOVE FREE!!!

Sweet! For a while that was Jacob's favorite movie...one day he came running in all excited. "Mommy! You and the fish are the SAME!" And then when I asked him if there were any differences the only one he could come up with was that the fish was blue. And I was not. Now I have another one coming up behind him and I'm waiting for the day when she figures all of that out too!
